Online drug buyers buzzin' about DEA bust

Online drug buyers are talking up a storm  about the DEA announcement today of a major drug bust of online drug sellers - doctors, suppliers and 4,500 Websites.

Drug-buyer bulletin boards we visited were full of worried discussions of NROPs and ROPs. An NROP is a "No Record Online Pharmacy", requiring no medical records or face-to-face meeting with a doctor before selling drugs. An ROP requires those records.

Here are some comments we saw (the names, obviously, are online monikers)

Jadi (left): "I know there are TONS of people who abuse this service and I don't feel bad for them. But I do believe there are many people here who legitimately NEED this service. I don't want to get into an argument with anyone about ROPs vs. NROPs, because we all know the ROP is the way to go IF it is an option."

mrsdoodle (left): "Trust me, Jadi, I do know the horrors of chronic pain. And the reason I do not need them now is only because I've been to heck and back finding an alternative...Just let me say that I've been in just about every position there is to be in when it comes to chronic pain."

bunnycats (left): "After what has happened, I cannot believe that anybody would still want to risk ordering from any of those sites that might still be out there.
Eventually they will all go down, if they weren't part of yesterday's batch of underground crime busts. And next on the DEA agenda, may be to start going after the idiots who persitently refuse to get the serious "message" sent out to
all of us yesterday. My God, get a grip, and get yourself a legitimate ROP as I have done."

I agree, there are many people on this website that use these things to please their recreational existence. There is one member in particular named DMG on this drugbuyers.com that posts novel sized posts everyday, and pretty much does nothing but research pills. He seems to have a bizarre if not compulsive stance on meds and how and where to obtain them. He seems to have remarkable knowledge of just about every single website that offers theses scheduled meds and recently it has pretty much been known, than in some way he is able to look at personal information(tracking down i.p. addresses or something like that) for new members or existing members. It is a scary place, and a place where even one member started a discussion(My_rugrat) on how many posts she had made about pills. She started a whole discussion thread about how she had topped everyone else, posting OVER 5,000 TIMES. We can only hope that these lost souls someday find something that makes their life more meaningful.

Mike's comments are a sad commentary on how ridiculous things can get on any online message board, whatever it may be dedicated to.

Mike happens to be a member who has been banned from Drugbuyers.com over 10 times it seems now, and yet keeps coming back. If Mike is so disgusted by what goes on there, I wonder why he makes it such a task to get back there?

Mike also happens to have a very vivid imagination, as anyone can see.

But that's okay. We try not to hold things against our mentally challenged members.

If anyone would like, they can visit DrugBuyers.com and see just how much Mike seems to have reversed his facts. Reading the posts and threads there will just show how much Mike truly does "hate" the site and "posting about pills" because he does the majority of it.

You obviously have no idea whats its like to either not have health insurance or have chronic pain.. before you go bashing on people that you know nothing about, do your reseach ... I am that poster My_Rugrat I have to comment on the statement made about me. Yes I have many posts on this board that is mentioned, but the only made about pills are those where I am helping other members either identify a medication and help them to know what it is used for, my posts always consist of helping members there in anyway that I can about any and all issues, including helping members when they post about up coming surgeries or posting about their children being sick, I also post about many different things that have absolutly nothing to do with medication at all, and we all post together and have become a cumminity of friends and also we support each other with anything that someone their may need support for.

And Mike, you are so far off base and slandering my name here can get you in a lot of trouble, so I do suggest that you get your fact straight before commenting false things about people.

.....DRUGBUYERS IS A HORRIBLE WEB SITE ,PERIOD .END OF THE DISCUSSION..However there are a other sites out there and i belong to them fighting for the advocacy of pain and anxiety patients all over the world .Walk a mile in another mans shoes ....and untill you sir have walked in ANY of the peoples shoes at drugbuyers ,where the heck do you get the BRASS to judge any of us ........i hope you become pain ridden one day and are unable to get to the support groups you need and the meds you need ,,,,,i will tell you that you would turn to the same lenghts in which we went to obtaain our meds,,,,,,,,,

Drugbuyers.com is a fucking stupid site that i operate ....it is amazing how many innocent people happen by the site on a daily basis ...i log every bit of information i can in order to turn it over to the federal government ,its the only way they let me operate my site independently ..soo i have taken down a few pharmacies and i have had my members arrested ...but hey its the price you pay to come onto a website that is named DRUGBUYERS ...i mean hey you wouldnt be there if you didnt want to buy drugs right ? There are some very warped people over at Drugbuyers including the Admin. If your half intelligent an make a post on their forum that actually makes sense, they get rid of you. I would say the majority of people at that forum are junkies.

I think you are warped, you have no idea who is suffering in pain and who is not, I am sure there are those few people who are not legit chronic pain sufferers but there are also many many members that are legit chronic patients. Not to mention everyone there shows support for each other.

I post as RUGGIE on Drugbuyers.com, and I can say with certainty that this sight does create Drug addicts...myself included. I started ordering meds online because my doctors instantly recognized me as a seeker, and I need to buy my drugs. So, I began ordering online. I have lied to so many doctors, and people playing doctors on the internet. I have wasted so much money on these drugs..and now I am nothing more than a junkie....looking wherever I can for my next fix. Its a sad life I lead...all I have is this messageboard full of other junkies who pretend they know better than their doctors.

How and why people keep coming back to this thread after more than a year, apparently to keep up a flame war, is a mystery to me.

I got a complaint from someone who said someone else is impersonating him in this thread and he wants it removed.But he didn't say what is nick was, or which comments were impersonated.

I'll compromise by closing comments on this thread and leaving things as they are. Thank you for participating in Crime Scene KC, and may all your prescriptions the legal ones.
