From Kansas City police 1:55 p.m.:
"The Jackson County Prosecutors Office has charged Larry D. Smith, black male, 05/28/1960 of KCMO with Forcible Rape, Kidnapping and two counts of third degree assault. The incident occurred on January 22, 2006 in the 900 block of Linwood Boulevard, KCMO. A bond amount of $250, 000 cash has been set."
