Stumbled across two interesting stories today in the Oroville Mercury-Register. Oroville's a town of 13,000 north of Sacramento, CA:
Seven men from Your Black Muslim Bakery in Oakland have been arrested for vandalizing liquor stores and berating clerks for selling liquor, which is against the Muslim faith. Their leader has spoken out against liquor stores in the black community. Story
Two Oroville-area residents were arrested for a more traditional crime - bank robbery - in Missouri. A state trooper stopped them east of Jasper after a UMB facility was robbed in Carthage. Story
This blog is a joke and the KCStar.com is a fool for using it. Go out and do something to rid the social problems in your area that are the root problems of crime (ie. poverty, drug abuse, weapon availability, lack of education, etc...). Treating criminals or suspected criminals like celebrities does nothing but promote fear into the lives of others.
