From KCK police 10:38 a.m.:
- The victim of the fatality accident that occurred on 03/22/2006 at approximately 2:03 a.m. near 89th and Leavenworth Road has been identified as Chaz Romero, Hispanic male, 01/12/1985. The victim was a resident of Kansas City, Kansas and family has been notified.

The crash occured ...when a black truck left the road,
hit a guard rail and ended up in a ditch. The man driving the vehicle
was killed.
Officers closed the Leavenworth Road from 87th to 89th Streets for three hours as they investigated the accident.
