So many pedophiles, so little time

NEW YORK (AP) - NBC has scheduled four hours of "Dateline NBC" episodes about its sting operations to catch pedophiles _ three of them during the May ratings sweeps period.
The episodes will run on consecutive Wednesdays starting this week. The May ratings sweep begins this Thursday.
NBC News set up sting operations in Greenville, Ohio and Fort Myers, Fla., using undercover operators pretending to be children chatting online. Several men solicited the children for sex and when they showed up for an expected rendezvous, were caught by authorities and caught on tape.
NBC was criticized by some journalism ethicists for paying an organization, Perverted Justice, to ensnare the suspected pedophiles in Ohio.
"Dateline NBC" correspondent Chris Hansen will participate in a live blog during Wednesday's installment of the newsmagazine, NBC said.
