Young author's books pulled from stores

Sad fall from grace:
NEW YORK (AP) - Rarely has an author succeeded, then failed, so quickly as Kaavya Viswanathan, the Harvard University sophomore who acknowledged lifting material for her debut novel, "How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life."
Just weeks after her book was released with a first printing of 100,000 and a wave of favorable attention, publisher Little, Brown and Company announced Thursday that it would be pulled from store shelves and that retailers had been asked to return unsold copies.

Champ man, you need to reevaluate how you are attempting to get your point across. The thing is, you do have a (somewhat) valid point when it comes to child custody. The system does tend to favor females over males, although that is changing rapidly.

You could potentially bring this topic into discussion if you were not so insistent on generalizing your statements to all women. If you could temper you passion with a little bit of understanding you may be able to actually change the system you see as fatally flawed.

Along the same lines, you continue to use emotionally charged and hateful language that does nothing but put anyone who reads it on the defensive. It seems as though the need to piss people off comes before any desire to actually alleviate the problem that you see.

I have attempted to see where you are coming from, and there could possibly be some validity to what you say (although using newswithVIEWS(I like).com to support it is probably not the best idea). At the same time, you need to learn how to step back and realize that the vast majority of women are not out there trying to suck men dry, and that there are some real a-hole men out there. In fact, you seem intelligent enough to be capable of understanding that, to make the changes that you think need to be made, you are going to need the support of those women that you continually insult.

Now if your goal is to make people mad, keep on doing what you are doing. If your goal is to make a change, you need to change your methods of persuasion.
