Email last week from reader Doyle P., friend of Reece Good:
- I met Reece about 12 years ago when we had a motorcycle organization here in Leavenworth, KS, called the IX-Worth Riders Association. We held a 3-day show every spring and Reece was just starting his custom building then and managed to always walk off with Best of Show. We have kept in contact over the years through our common interest. I own a custom shop in Leavenworth and we have a lot of friends in common. We are all praying for him, he is the kind of person this world needs more of.

This is so sad. I really hope someone comes forward on this crime...but it IS KCK and they are not known for being helpful. I hope this poor man recovers. He is in my prayers.

I was involved in a "hit and run" about 3 weeks ago. Location: 78th & I-70. The car color and size sound familliar, and there was what appeared to be a 30 day tag in the rear window (the windows were tinted very dark, so I couldn't read what appeared to be a 30 day tag) The car could of been stolen for all I know... I myself attempted to chase it on I-70, then I realized it was full of hispanic's (I'm pretty certain of this) and then I came to my sences and pulled over to calm down and call my husband. With the case we have at hand, I was told this incident probably had something to do with it. They've not been caught. I'm not sure if this is even the same person(s) I just hope they catch whoever did this.

Reece Good is the kindest person you could ever meet. He is always giving a helping hand. What happened to him is the hardest, most painful thing, that any peson could have to go through. Reece is my oldest brother. If you could understand the pain and heartache that this cruel heartless attack caused him and my family, you would not let these fucking jerks get away with what they have done. If you know anything and i mean anything about this please call the kck police department. Reece and my family deserve justice.
