From the AP Sports Digest:
Tyler Hughes, a reserve basketball player at Kansas State University,
was dismissed from the team Monday after it became known that his name
appears in a registered sex offender database.

Hat tip to reader blondie2hot7! (and reader ***** who pointed me to KBI offender list)

You can find him through the KBI's offender list at accesskansas.com
He won't show on Kasper because he was under 18 when it happened.

I am really curious as to the actual story behind the listing. It could be anything from legit child molestation to statutory "rape" of his younger girlfriend when her parents found out.

So the guys name is on the list, he probably went to prison or served some sort of punishment for whatever crime he committed. Welcome back to society, a place where you never stop paying for your crimes.

Ok, it looks like he didn't go to prison -- I'd still like to know the details, but since the guy was under 18 at the time, it's all sealed up.
