And now, a sheriff's DUI checkpoint

From Jackson County sheriff's deputy Ronda Montgomery :

  • On Friday, several agencies in the Jackson County Traffic Safety Task Force (JCTSTF) will be conducting a multi-jurisdictional DWI Checkpoint in southern Jackson County.
  • By using grant funds awarded from Missouri Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Division, the checkpoint is aimed at reducing the number of alcohol related traffic crashes that occur on Jackson County roadways.

Doesn't say what time; I have a call in.
