OK this is just sad. Although I was not surprised when I heard about it last week. I thought we got rid of Eric "DUI" Warfield. Well here is to 4 games with Eric Hicks at Defensive End. I wonder if Roger Goodell will give him more than the standard 4 games for it occurring while on diversion.

Jared needs to get a damn driver and learn how to drink responsibly.

Funny, Eric Warfield had 3 DUI's and it was front page news.

Jared is 2/3 of the way there and the story has generated little attention.

Well luckily for Jared Allen, the T.O. saga took up too much of the sports airwaves and newspaper space to run stories on it. And after the 41-0 spanking of the 49ers it will likely stay under the radar. I find it funny that while on diversion you aren't supposed to even drink, yet I saw him out two weeks ago drinking with his dinner then left. Hmmm bet he drove then too. He needs help.

wonder what the police got for driving jared home. How many times do you think the police in kansas would drive someone else home instead of transporting them to gardener and towing the car to the tow low for 100 dollars a day. it would be interesting if the police could be honest enough and explain their policy of driving the privledge home instead of taking them to jail

Jared Allen is the poster boy for drunk driving and delinquent behavior.. Where is the outrage from MADD and Paul Morrison the Johnson County DA ?? They are too probably too busy checking their complimentary tickets for the San Diego and Seattle games !!!

Once Allen is convicted, he should suspended for a few games , denied any public appearances, and his jerseys removed from stores.. Apparently Herm does not believe in team discipline .

The irony of it all is that before the off-week, Herm Edwards was quoted during his press conference as saying "Just don't end up on (hums the Sportscenter intro)." Looks like Jared couldn't follow simple instructions. Like don't drink and drive. I mean heck, they tell you all throughout the games that you shouldn't do it.

Allen should move to KCMO. You can drive like a crazed drunk maniac all you want and the cops won't pull you over.

You'd think being an NFL player and making mad amounts of cash you'd be able to get a ride home. Oh well. Was he pulled over in his Caddie with the horns? Might as well be a bullseye on a Friday/post-game night.

Another fine role model for our children!
