Who was Addie Hall?

There are more details out about the gruesome killing in New Orleans from earlier in the week, especially about the victim, Addie Hall. The Times-Picayune has a profile here.

Hall, who came from North Carolina, worked as a bartender, and liked writing and ballroom-dancing, and got involved in conversations that could last all night. She also had a troubled background; she told friends that she'd been abused as a girl. People who know her say she was a free spirit, a firecracker.

From the Times-Picayune story: "She was definitely a girl with a lot of personal demons, but she had flashes of a very magnetic personality," said Frank Lin, who dated Hall for a few weeks in 2002 in Durham before she decided to leave town. "There were times when you would think, 'This is the greatest person in the world.'"
