DUI saturation patrols in JoCo

The Johnson County sheriff's office has announced a holiday crackdown on drunk-driving:Joco_so_new_badge

  • During this holiday season sheriff’s deputies will be out in force conducting saturation patrols to stop drunk drivers.
  • "Make no mistake. Our message is simple. If we catch you driving impaired, we will arrest you. No exceptions. No excuses," said Sheriff Frank Denning.
  • Drunk driving is simply not worth the risk - Not ever!  Not only do impaired drivers risk killing them or someone else, but the financial costs of a crash or an arrest for impaired driving can be significant. Violators often face jail time, the loss of their driver’s license, higher insurance rates, attorney fees, time away from work, and dozens of other expenses.
