When Los Angeles police entered an apartment building Wednesday, a
Jamaican national long sought by Kansas City authorities jumped out a
window.
Police chased and caught Warren Price, who is wanted for allegedly killing two people in Kansas City in 1997.
Price is accused of being involved in a Feb. 13, 1997, attack in a
home in the 3800 block of Montgall Avenue. Intruders killed John E.
Bonner and LaKesha N. LaMaster and wounded another woman.
According to detectives, the victims were mistakenly attacked after
two juveniles stole $70,000 from a drug house and took the money to the
Montgall home to split it, even though neither of the juveniles lived
there.
The angry drug dealers forced their way into the house and opened fire. The juveniles were not there.
