Accused stalker charged in kidnap-murder
A twice-accused stalker has been charged in the kidnap-murder of Cowley College student Jodi Sanderholm, Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison said.
Justin Thurber, 23, Arkansas City, has been charged with capital murder, rape and
aggravated kidnapping. He is being held in lieu of $1million bond at
Cowley County Jail. There will be a hearing this afternoon in Winfield.
Sanderholm, 19, was last seen at a Subway restaurant in downtown
Arkansas City about 1 p.m. on Jan. 5, and her body was found in a rural
area in southeastern Cowley County on Jan. 9. Her car was pulled from
Cowley State Fishing Lake the same day.
Two women have also accused Thurber of stalking and have filed protection petitions in Winfield and Arkansas City.

Burn him Paul. Show Kline how a real attorney does it.

If the County DA is to try it, why did they have the AG announce the charges?
Posted by: The_Golfer | Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 02:58 PM
I dont think the county will due to it being a Capital murder/rape case.

I hope they let Morrison slip back into the courtroom on this one!! Kline hasn't got a clue as to what to do.
There was no abortion or "mis-handling" of DUI tickets, so.......
