Shaquille O'Neal -- a reserve officer with the Miami Beach police -- and his bodyguard chased down a hit-and-run driver who banged up his Cadillac Escalade early Sunday. They caught up with the driver and his friend at a gas station a few minutes later.
From the story: ''I couldn't believe that,'' the driver's friend said. "Of all the people. I mean, damn. ... He told us to shut up. He said, `I don't want to talk to you right now.' ''

I think celebrity cops is a bad idea....These guys are idiots....
Did anyone happen to catch that show where they "short" trained the selected celbs. such as Eric Estrada and the little guy from Austin Powers...That was such a joke....I couldnt believe a city took that on someone had to of payed some big bucks to some politicians some place to allow that freak show happen.....I can see why they are in the acting business it was pathetic and a slap in the face to real cops...I would of been ashamed to work that city...

Kinda like "Dog" the bounty hunter that guy is such a joke....Always threatening to arrest people and stuff he can not do that...I cant believe they allow him to advertise he actually does that on Tell-A-Vision I would think someone would get sued he is not even close to being a cop at all....
Folks the guy can not carry a weapon he is a "Felon" I can believe he is allowed to carry mace and hand cuffs...It is all a big joke...The guy is a phony and gets his kicks off of exploiting people for money...And the thing is people actually buy into it....Making felons celbrities and the condoneing by letting them chase ticket offender and drug addicts....Lol sad...

Remember awhile back when Shaq, along with the Miami PD (Don't know if Crockett and Tubbs were involved) kicked down a suspected child molester's door, only to find out later they got the wrong guy? Shaq, put down the badge, cuffs, and donuts and try to play more than 4 games this season. Not that Dwayne Wade really needs you or anything.

Leave the dog alone. he dont portray himself as a cop. He goes after people that jump bond. None of his family has guns, not because he is a felon but because they dont need them. Usually you make sense in your rantings but that one was useless. He never pretended to be a cop and if he posts bond for someone and they skip is he just suppose to sit back and say oh well.
Posted by: me2 | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 12:19 PM
Oh ok me2 are you going to tell me that he can go out and tell random people if they do not cooperate he will arrest them???News flash is the truth is he can not...Do you honeslty think a felon can do that or are you condoneing it even??Remember this is America that could open up doors for others that are not as good of a guy that you happen to think he is....
And besides do you honestly think he and his family do not carry guns because he is a felon???Lmfao do not make me laugh....I seen where he was trieing to get around that with the pepper gun he purchased..
I am sorry if you are offended but I have seen people that are in prison and when they are convicted of a felony it means they are in a cell for along time...And almost all like 90 percent just happen to find god and read the bible and such..TO try and cut their time....Sorry but this guy may have you fooled but I on the other hand am not by the least bit....He is a felon period..He did something to get that mark on his record and it wasnt just some petty theft either.....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 12:56 PM
Bottom line is the guy is an actor like most felons and he has you suckered...
I myself refuse to watch his show.....Just because he has a badge and carries it around to make himself look big means nothing....Go to NKC uniform shop you can find one just like it for 14 bucks..All shiney and all....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 12:59 PM
Yes sir judge, jury, and exectioner. Not everyones life or mistakes is an opportunity for you to cast judgement and decide the fate of the world.
Posted by: me2 | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:00 PM
me2,
Do you know what a felon is????
Are you willing to leave that door open here in the USA????
The guy can not even become a security guard but he can run around chasing people and make himself look big....Give me a break....
Take for instance would you like a child molester do what he is doing??You are condoning that by supporting this guy,you know???This is America....That is why I am against it...Not that he is a bad guy I am sure he is a perfectly modeled felon compared to some I have seen in the past...
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:06 PM
Yes I do know what a felon is. I am also fully aware of what a j@ck@ss is too, in case you were wondering.
Posted by: me2 | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:10 PM
LOL good one.....I never expected to be called a name for criticising a felon....Nice..
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:17 PM
Just like people dont expect to be called names just cause they are felons. People make mistakes but your attitude is your not allowed too. Once you screw up you are banned from human existence in your theory. He is hardly a child molester and he openly talks about why he was in prison and why he dont never want to go back.
Posted by: me2 | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:20 PM
Lol me2 I do not think like that and you are making up stuff based on my comments about the line of work he is doing....
I do not think he should be banned from exisistance but on the other hand I do not feel as if he should be able to run around on a television show trieing to portray himself as a law enforecement officer..You know that is what he does and I know it....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:26 PM
me2 also just a note most people that do go to prison generally do not want to go back but that is like a grain of salt.....And if he openly talks about why I have never heard him once admit to what he did to get thrown in the pen actually...I must of missed that episode....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:28 PM
You miss alot of things.
Posted by: me2 | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:29 PM
me2,
Yea ok,I just can not understand why people are so anxious to knock "Britany Spears" on every little move she makes...But yet they find that a guy that is a felon trieing to portray an image of being in law enforcement wearing a badge and the neat gadgets and all....
Both of them are influencing kids but yet one is bad and in some peoples eyes the other is perfectly fine....
I personally do not condone this for the simple fact the door is open for felons to do the exact same thing.....A felony crime is a felony crime the act and time is different the title is still the same....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 01:36 PM
It's people with mentalities like yours that make it hard for felons who wish to change thiers lives to do so. Someone who at 18 that decided to puts firecrackers in a mailbox is not they same as someone who molested a child.
Posted by: Plombage | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 02:27 PM
Are you saying that dog put fire crackers in a mail box????
Also a felon is a felon buddy check the laws....Also when it come to a certain type of job and what they can do a felon is a felon...I am not saying the guy shouldnt be able to live but to portray himself as a cop is a dangerous game...Kind of like if you let one do it they all can do it...Thus then a felon is a felon.....
Maybe this will make you understand....If dog who is a felon that put a fire cracker in a mail box can do it then Charlie the child molestor can also......Do you get it now???
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 02:37 PM
I am against the fact he can go out and hunt people with a weapon of any kind mace included....Has a door wide open for others who may be more dangerous to do the samething....
I know the simple mentality of people like you is do the crime do the time it is payed.....No the fact is felons can not do alot of things including voting...That is the way it is unless you feel that strongly about it then try and get it changed....But now being a felon is a level playing feild.....
Posted by: BS Steve | Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 02:41 PM
Before you post another half baked comment use your research abilities to look up QUALIFACTIONS required BY law to be a bounty hunter. You cant just wake up one day and say Im going to bounty hunt today.

"A convicted felon may not register to vote unless unconditionally discharged from custody. When you are no longer on probation and have received a copy of your discharge papers you will be allowed to register"

And
Automatically restored upon completion of sentence, probation and/or parole; felon must register to vote;

"Also a felon is a felon buddy check the laws" - False there are many classifications of felonies. From A to D.
"No the fact is felons can not do alot of things including voting" - False, felons can petition to get their voting rights back.
"Brittany Spears v. Dog" - Yes one is a felon and the other is a bad partent. The problem is you are judging DOG on his past and brittany on her looks (maybe cause those are leaving her). Dog paid his time and yes he should be scrutinized a little more, but he is trying to make good in his life by bringing in criminals. Brittany is continueally making one bad deision after another. No seat belt for her kid, almost dropping her kid to save her drink, sex tapes, wearing dresses with no panties while with another no name whore. The list goes on and on.

dang you beat me to it plombage, glad to know there are other intelligent people on this blog.

me2,
An LLC can be formed by anyone...Also bounty hunting does not take any qualifications that is why it is so dangerous and people are in an up roar about it....
Also JC i like the way you fight for cops then you fight against them in your litlle rants....Felon A TO D all have on thing in common they are all felons...
Also there is no felon here that can own a fire arm period...I myself was smart enough to stay out of trouble with out getting that file on my record....And I am not gonna stick up for this guy wanting to be a vigilante thinking he is a cop for that reason....
Bottom line is this guy does not deserve the popularity or time he is a felon period...O and on voting in this country that does not surprise me we now give "illegals" rights....What a sham.....
Posted by: BS Steve | Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 09:36 AM
Look the guy can not even become a "jailer" at a county jail but yet he can become a bounty hunter and bring people to those same jails......
This system is seriously flawed if you ask me.....
