A video store in McDonald County -- literally, the southwestern-most county in Missouri -- was convicted of promoting obscenity. (Some informants from the local drug task force were allegedly able to rent some adult movies from the store.)
But the store's won an appeal because the probable cause did not describe the contents of the videos. From the News-Leader's story:
The state agreed with the attorney’s request for a new trial. “... Neither party wants to cause this Honorable Court to be required to review the six hours of sexually explicit ‘adult’ material” in the case, the state said.
