Gruesome photos: Not prejudicial

The Missouri Court of Appeals has upheld a murder conviction from Joplin in the beating death of a homeless man.

The defendant argued a couple of points, including hearsay, but one stood out to me: His lawyers said it wasn't fair for the prosecutor to show enlarged photos of the crime scene. The court ruled the photos weren't prejudicial just because they were gruesome.
