Missing: Kelsey Smith, 18

KelseysmithUPDATED: The family is asking as many people as possible to show up at 2 p.m. outside the Target, just south of Oak Park Mall, and help pass out fliers.

UPDATED AGAIN: Police worry that foul play is involved. Smith's dad is a police officer, so she knows to call if she's even being delayed. A lot of the leads so far aren't really panning out.

UPDATED: Smith's family is already offering a $5,000 reward for information.

From The Star: Police are searching for an 18-year-old Overland Park woman who has been missing since Saturday evening. Kelsey Smith was last seen about 7 p.m. leaving the Target store south of Oak Park Mall. She was expected to drive directly home from the store, but never made it, police said.

Her car, a 1987 two-door Buick Regal with a Kansas tag of WOZ 965, was found parked outside the Macy’s store at the Oak Park Mall about two hours after she was last seen leaving the Target.Smith is described as white, 5-foot-6 and about 120 pounds, police said. She has long, brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink tank top, black shorts and possibly sandals.

Smith just graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School, police said. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477) or Overland Police Detective Bob Miller at 913-327-6965.
