Tiller charged with 19 misdemeanors in late-term abortion case

Wow, I totally misread this one. The Kansas AG says he's going to charge George Tiller, a Wichita doctor who performs late-term abortions, with 19 misdemeanor counts. Tiller's attorneys say he's innocent.

Just yesterday, Morrison had said many of the previous charges against Tiller -- filed by then-AG and Morrison rival Phill Kline -- were based on faulty or incomplete information. Which sort of made me, and I'm betting a lot of people, think Morrison wouldn't file any charges.

(I wonder if Morrison felt pressured to file charges partly because a Tiller-controlled PAC spent so much against Kline during their last race.)
