Topeka man mugged for his can of beer

A Topeka man, age 54, says two people beat him up and stole his 40-ounce can of Magnum beer on Tuesday night. The beer cost about $3.50.

I'd say the muggers might want to look into attending some AA meeting.
If you have to have a drink so bad that you would mug someone for it then you have a big problem.

IF this happened over illegal drugs it would be more ammo for people to say they should remain illegal.

But prohibition against drugs is somehow different than prohibition against alcohol in most peoples' minds.
