You mean Mindy McCready, the country singer who popularized the song "Ten Thousand Angels"? She's just done a stint in a Florida jail after she allegedly scratched her mother's face. She's also facing charges of resisting arrest -- McCready says officers used excessive force and tackled her while she was holding her baby.

what a shame. She USUALLY looks pretty dang cute. After her first couple of CD's came out, she's just been getting in trouble. And more trouble. And more trouble. You'd think she was in the NFL.

It really is a shame to waste a God-given talent like this. Ten Thousand Angels is a beautiful song. I hope those Angels keep a watch on her.

Having lived in Nashville during a lot of the hubbub and knowing a couple of people who know her, there are definitely some drugs involved (more likely prescription than street, though she may have downshifted since her star has fallen) and the bad boyfriend/bad choices angle just made it worse. Trainwreck city.

Amber, brief review of her last 10 years or so. Bit of a drinking problem...DUI's. Low self esteem issues. Addiction to Oxycontin. Abusive ex. Suicide attempts, 2 I think. I think she has a resisting arrest/hitting a police officer in there somewhere as well.
