From David Klepper's report: The Kansas Supreme Court has granted Attorney General Paul Morrison’s request to intervene in a legal dispute between a Planned Parenthood clinic and Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline.
In June the Planned Parenthood clinic in Overland Park filed a petition with the Kansas Supreme Court to force Kline to return medical records he received while investigating the clinic as attorney general. Morrison filed a request to intervene in the case last month. That request was granted by the court this week.
The case was sealed by the Supreme Court, so no information about the contents of the petition, Morrison’s filing, or the court’s response, is available.
Morrison long criticized Kline’s handling of the case and the medical records and upon taking office, vowed to seek the return of the files. ...

He sure did. Long before he ever saw a single shred of the evidence or charges. Kind of makes one wonder why this is all being done in secret.

Perhaps to protect the privacy of those involved, something Kline never really gave a thought to.

Morrison can finally do the work he was paid for by Tiller.

I don't think so Rhonda, considering that was never a legitimate issue. The names as you are well aware were redacted and specifically protected by the courts previous rulings by placing them with the custodial court.

Well, Nick, I guess you know better than the Kansas Supreme Court. I'm sure they're just a bunch of hacks also.
aqua - this doesn't involve Tiller. Morrison has preferred charges against him.

Nick, so you don't wonder anymore. A quote from above.
"The case was sealed by the Supreme Court"
Aqua, their all paid by someone.
Kline fined $1,500 for violating campaign finance law.
Phill Kline had at least two people on staff that have criminal records. Bryan Brown, head of the Consumer Protection Division, has 12 prior arrests, currently owes $61,000 in federal fines, which he apparently refuses to pay. Kline hired his nephew Brad as his driver, who’s on probation for drug possession and has a suspended driver’s license.
Those kind of judgment errors are inexcusable.
“When I wake up in the morning, I look at the world from a law enforcement perspective,” says Morrison. “My opponent looks at the world from a politician’s perspective. And I think that’s a massive difference between the two of us.
I cut that from the election article I read.

Pardon me Rhonda? Did the Supreme Court say the lawsuit was secret to protect the identity of the victims who's names were redacted?
The way I read your original response, you were speculating as to the reason. If you have knowledge confirming your thoughts, I would gladly accept your answer without attempting to insult or dismiss you, in the same manner as you just did.

Right Jewells, my question is why was it sealed and how were they able to file a secret lawsuit directly with the Supreme Court in the first place?
Can I do this?

Nick, I am not sure, but could you contact the AG office and ask why it was sealed. I don't know much about the freedom of information act.
I think an assumption would be it contains private patient information, so perhaps it does.

Not sure Nick, I think your much better informed on these matter's than I.
One way or the other the records should have been returned long ago.
No matter though, the records are more than likely already scanned into a computer, heck prolly more than one just for good measure.
Like Morrison said before.
Morrison = Law Professional
Kline = Politician
Easy fix, allow abortions.
Why should I have a say in the matter? It is not my body, will not be my child. I will only have any responsiblity if the child is born. Like I have said 1000 times before, if she does NOT want it now, what makes you think she will later? Then who takes care of the child? The anti abortion folks? Sure Sure, like that will ever happen.

I think the worms are flying out of the can as I type...I'm gonna sit and watch...

Not if they are part of an ongoing investigation, which would explain exactly why they went directly to the Supreme Court who redacted and released them in the first place. What is more likely is that the evidence contains incriminating material that combined with other evidence could lead to criminal charges. It could also be a fishing expedition to ensure that he does not indeed have anything that could be used against them.
Now as far as Morrison being a "Law Professional" I have to laugh loudly at that. Would a legitimate professional other than Politician publicly announce that he would dismiss a criminal investigation before he ever saw a single piece of evidence or got elected to office? You be the judge.
Would a "Law Professional" change his Political Party affiliation because he couldn't get a nomination otherwise, or would a Politician?
A Law Professional is an Officer, Detective, Investigator, Trooper, PO, CO or Special Agent. None of these titles describe Morrison or any other lawyer in any way. They simply try and steal their credibility because their own is trash.

Oh well again an easy fix to all of these troubles.
The millions spent by both sides is appalling.
If we allow legal abortion w/o any legalities, other than the safety of the patient. We would save millions.

Except that is pretty much what got us here in the first place.
We had a Corporation and a Doctor who decided to operate outside the law and allow abortions not legally obtainable anywhere else in the entire Nation...come to think of it, Europe either.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for abortion. I even support taxpayer supported abortions as long as tubular ligation is included.
I don't think it is very realistic to expect the entire world to remove legal limitations to when someone can kill their kids. After all, we've already had doctors try and legitimize delivering the baby and scrambling it's brains without recourse because the leg was still in the birth canal. What's next? Smashing it's head on a rock at 6 weeks?

why don't we all just acknowledge that this is all part of the petty feud between two morons with an axe to grind. the choice between the two of them for Ag was so bad i voted for every issue on the ballot except that one. they are like a couple of babys on the playground who stop there feet and storm off after somebody takes their toy. what an absolute embarrassment to have Morrison as Ag and to have Kline as the local DA. its absolutely pathetic...it really is. how anyone can support either one of these morons is beyond comprehension.

AG Morrison is definitely obstructing justice. He has blatantly refused to enforce the "substantial and irreversible" bodily health clause of the Kansas post-viable abortion ban, and has blatantly refused to subpoena Tiller's abortion records of 2004-2007, clearly known to contain evidence of more criminal post-viable abortions signed off by second quack Kristin Neuhaus, particularly the fatally botched post-viable abortion of Christin Gilbert in January, 2005.
This will not stand. We will have justice. Already the noose of justice is tightening more in Sedgwick County, in spite of Tiller's buying off DA Foulston, as the petition for a grand jury investigation of more of Tiller's abortion mill crimes is delivered today.
