A Jackson County judge sentenced a Kansas City man today to life in prison for a murder committed after he and the victim exchanged glares.
A jury convicted Adrian L. Washington, 27, in October of second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Washington contended a passenger in his car actually fired the shots that killed Brandon Strickland, 24, two years ago in Kansas City. Jurors found that even if the passenger fired the gun, Washington was guilty as an accessory.
