Police: Motorcycle gang surrounds, attacks cars on St. Louis roads

A group of nearly 50 motorcycle riders surrounded two different vehicles on St. Louis-area roads on Sunday afternoon. The riders, who were riding Japanese-model bikes, kicked the vehicles and threw objects at them before racing away.

I agree with others, I would have defened myself with the only weapon available. The car. Considering the I-Vtec will go to 145MPH. They would not have out run me either.

Can you find out what laws would apply to a situation like this?
Say the motorist did run over a rider & kill the SOB. How do ya think that would play out in the courts?

Yes, stupid kids but no, you're v-tech probably couldn't even catch a harley.
Even an old "crotch-rocket" 600cc can outbreak, out accelerate, and outrun almost every single production car ever built in the world. It's physics and there's nothin to it, just a fact. 145mph is still 4th or 5th gear for a 6 speed race-repli styled moto, and that's stock. Too bad that those kids have to go and re-ignite the "outlaw image" we motorcyclists have tried for years to shed.

I agree with Stretch. Everyone keeps talking about "outlaw bikers" threatening motorists... These are children on crotch rockets, not bikers. It's not like it's 50 Hell's Angels or suddenly the Saddle Tramps have all gone insane simultaneously.
