Topeka teen, 17, accused of stealing kid's bag of candy

From the Capital-Journal's roundup of Halloween crime in Topeka:

Pankratz said a 12-year-old boy was robbed of his bag of trick-or-treat candy at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at S.W. 19th and James.

The assailant used "physical force" in taking the candy, Pankratz said. The victim received minor injuries but wasn't transported to the hospital.

Pankratz said Daniel K. Lindberg, 17, of Topeka, was arrested in connection with the robbery. Pankratz said he was taken to the Shawnee County Juvenile Department of Corrections.

Well, this is the one person who will be removed from the list of suspects in vandalizing Westboro Baptist Church. LOL

Speaking of which, we need you to come down to the station sometime today Vib. Just a formality you know.

Sincerely,
SGT Rock, TPD
