FCC tries to protect us from nudity that occured five years ago

Not a crime, just interesting ... The FCC wants to fine 52 ABC affiliates $1.4 million for airing an "NYPD Blue" episode in 2003. Viewers got to see a woman's bare behind. The stations' defense?

The agency said the show was indecent because ''it depicts sexual organs and excretory organs -- specifically an adult woman's buttocks.''

The agency rejected the network's argument that ''the buttocks are not a sexual organ.''

Hat Tip: Many thanks, Keith G in PV!

The real crime was how long NYPD Blue was on the air.

The FCC obviously has nothing useful to do.

The buttocks are a sexual organ? Wow. I guess that depends on how kinky you are.

As an NYPD Blue addict, this is ridiculous. They showed bare butts on that show all the time.

Nobody said a word, except David Letterman when they showed Dennis Franz (Sipowitz) big fat butt in the shower.

These women are just jealous, because Charlotte Ross was/is a babe.
