FL cop investigated over utter freaking nonsense

John Nohejl is a school resource officer in Florida, and he has a MySpace page with links to 170 or so friends, as a way to reach out to students. Well, one of those friends chose to link to an amateur porn site. Of course, this means there must be a criminal investigation of Nohejl, who -- by the way -- doesn't have any porn on his site whatsoever.

Or, as the St. Peterburg Times puts it, "kids could navigate from Officer John's page on the social networking site to 'Amateur Match Free Sex' in just three clicks."

Heavens! Someone fetch me the salts, I've been overcome by a case of the vapors! I'm pretty sure you can get from the Vatican to the world's worst fetishes in three clicks.

Wired has a pretty good takedown on the general idiocy at play here.

Hat Tip: Many thanks, Shultz!

Thats sooo sad. Dont they have some prison guards to investigate? http://www.local6.com/news/15139910/detail.html?rss=orlpn&psp=news

can't you get from this blog to porn in three clicks too? That being said, whoever is prosecuting this guy really needs to relax

James, have you been to that Naughty Vatican Vixens website too?

People shouldn't be taken pictures of themselves nekkid.

Scott: You can get from here to porn in LESS than three clicks sometimes. (I try to take down spam comments, but they're pretty prolific.)

Aqua: No comment.

Have the investigators even ever used the internet? Seriously.

No good deed goes unpunished.

That's what happens when you try to help kids. There is always one who ruins it for everyone.
