Hiker's killer admits to the murder -- gets life with parole

Hiker Gary Michael Hilton has admitted that he killed a hiker, Meredith Emerson, earlier this month in the north Georgia mountains. His plea deal gives him life with the possibility of parole after 30 years. The judge said she was OK with the plea because she's pretty sure Hilton will die before then.

I'm still a little shocked how quickly this case has been resolved.
