Were KY hosts let go because of their ages?

From Aaron Barnhart:

Four former employees of classic-rock station KYYS-FM have filed an age-discrimination complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission over their firings in January.

Former morning-show hosts Max Floyd, 67, and Tanna Guthrie, 51, and two other on-air personalities of the former KY-99.7 allege that Entercom Communications of Philadelphia pink-slipped them because of their age.

These two were "old" 20 years ago.

And Floyd kept falling back on his induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a reason he should NEVER be fired.

This is a crime?

It might have been because they sucked!!!!

I am an old time rock listener, but they kept falling in to some REALLY old rock and leaned towards the acid side making the show unlistenable(a word?) to.

I enjoyed Max, Tanna, and Moffit in the mornings....then Max & Tanna.

Now I listen to NPR.

Oh well.

I think when they teamed up moffit and frankie on 101 there morning show lost rating.. Morning is a big time slot and if you cant keep the ratings.. You are outta there..

As far as the age thing there were only 4 that were fired that were old.. what about the rest of them?

Can't that guy just go get some social security and forget the lawsuit? Geeeeeeez. He should count his blessings for being able to work in that cut throat business as long as he has.
They need to quit whining.
