From Quincy, Ill. -- The attorney who formerly represented Michelle Riley on Adams County drug charges says she is shocked Riley has been indicted for murder.

According to The Quincy Herald-Whig, an autopsy shows 30 pellets inside Dorothy Dixon's body, plus evidence of scalding "by a hot, caustic substance" on 30 percent of her bod. There is also evidence Dixon was beaten.

Good grief!! Look at those people. Maybe we need to make it a crime to be stupid. Wait, we can't do that. 95% of the population would then be in prison. Maybe we can invent something like a late-adolescent abortion or early-adult. It is obvious these folks have no brains to suck out, so it should be easy. Is Australia still a penal colony? If so, we could ship them all over there. They have lots of space.

Let's make Antarctica a penal colony!

I think some blame needs to be placed on the neighbors as well. One witnessed Riley forcing the victim to run naked outside? Hello? Its called alerting the authorities!

And what's up the authorities not charging her more seriously on a previous crime because she had too many children to take care of? Yeah, that's make a lot of sense. Roll eyes....

My uncle owns that house. I feel sorry for what dorothy went through I would not allow that to happen ever I don't know who would I wouldn't have anything to do with them. I feel sorry for dorothy plus my uncle who had to clean up the mess. If my uncle knew what was going on in that house dorothy would still be alive, it only took one simple phone call to the police department from terry brandt & she would still be alive. Terry would be brought up on something for not reporting it.

This is a heartbreaking story. This woman slipped through the cracks. A mentally disabled woman who is pregnant and has a young child already needs to be checked upon by Social Services. Clearly she could not fend for herself and found herself with the worst possible kind of people. The acts committed upon this lady are unthinkable. They were even starving her little baby. The adults ALL deserve the death penalty. I think putting them in a pool of water and then dropping in numerous electrical appliances might be suitable. As for the minors, their souls have been destroyed. After participating in such evil, I do not think there is anything ahead for them but more mayhem. This is the most disturbing thing I have read in a very long time. God, please have mercy on the little boy who is recovering, and see he is placed in a loving home.

Hey Fandango, Australia isn't a Penal colony any more, i guess being a sepo you don't no much about anything, that doesn't have made in USA stamped on it...??

This story epitomises the unrestricted violence that residents of USA are exposed too, This poor woman was taken advantage of by a number of people, devoid it seems of natural human emotions.. Emotions sanitised by the continuous exposure to violence shown in the media...

My thoughts are with the poor woman's young child, god bless the meek and the underprivileged.....
