The Vermont towns of Brattleboro and Marlboro have voted to indict President Bush and Vice President Cheney for crimes against the Constitution. The local constabulary is supposed to arrest the two should they ever set foot in town.

Assuming the police can get past the Secret Service.

The beauty of anything illegal that the Bush administration has done is that its all covered with the red tape of national security. Even the suits over the warrantless wiretaps, which were illegal, can't get anywhere because the Justice Dept., under the umbrella of national security, has been given a free ride by the courts blocking the subpoena of records to find out who was actually spied upon. The statutes of limitations will have long passed by the time the illegal acts (warrantless clandestine espionage, torture, etc.) by the time the documents that prove any of it become declasified.
