Once again, public scorn has accomplished what common sense couldn't. We had a story yesterday about a Connecticut eighth-grader who got suspended and lost his post on the student council because he was caught buying Skittles at school.
Well, after a day of national media attention, the school is backtracking. See? People in authority can be trusted to be fair and reasonable ... so long as they're subjected to intense public scrutiny.
Hat Tip: Many thanks, You're A Mean Drunk R2D2!

Banning DRUGS, GUNS, FOUL LANGUAGE, BULLYING, YES. But Candy????????? Get a clue people. There are much more important things than throwing the book at a teen for candy. Sheesh!!!!!

Ok tell me again why when women have babies they come out as babies and not adults???? Because this is getting ridiculous, let these kids be kids for as long as possible. That's what's wrong with all this mess in today's society. We won't let our kids be kids. They need to be born grown if that's the case. I can't believe that law makers didn't think to change a law saying babies can't be born babies anymore.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CSCK FOR HELPING RIGHT A WRONG.
Please do tell us James, that they specifically mentioned CSKC as part of the intense public scrutiny that led to the change. (It's okay to lie and make us feel good).
