That guy has some big juevos for stopping and confronting that dude.

I am actually a neighbor to James Carr, the man being accused of shooting his "wifes lover". I would just like to simply point out a couple of things here. One, whoever wrote and gave authorization to publish that version of the story, both should be fired. I was unaware that KCTV5 was a fictional news outlet. If the objective is to compete with the National Inquirer then by all means, have at it but I think you should make it known to your readers. There should be some form of ethics no matter what form of journalism you partake in. The second thing I would like to point out, within the same incoherent ramble you read that a man, locked up his brakes in the middle of the road to confront another human being. I think that falls under “road rage”. Who in their right mind does something like that at 2:30 in the morning? The last thing I would like to point out since KCTV5 obviously can not afford to properly investigate a situation is the fact that the two gentleman who are being considered the victims here, these two gentleman were escorted out of the same bar in question for fighting nearly an hour and a half earlier to when the alleged incident occurred. Now I know this is extremely hard to grasp but really try to wrap what little bit of common sense you might have around this and REALLY try to use your absolute best judgment to draw a conclusion. Here is what I see, a premeditated attack on a married couple at 2:30 in the morning by a couple of hicks who were not in a very solid state of mind. Now with that said, your hypocritical and moronic ramble of a theory does absolutely nothing positive nor does it examine the situation in any form. What it does do is it puts a family who is already in disarray, farther away from justice. It taints a reputation as being good hospitable human beings. It puts their children in a vulnerable position. I can’t imagine how many other lives KCTV5 has ruined because of piss poor journalism.

I think I would rather believe Shawn than what's been on MSM.

Thanks. That is what I sent KCTV5 this morning. It amazes me that in this day and age, with information being so easily obtained that our news institutions feel the need to put a crazy spin on things and destroy peoples lives all to sell more advertising slots. If you actually see the reports, they pose some serious double standards. In this day and age, I don't care what the case may be, you do not slam on your breaks in front of someone at 2:30 in the morning then get out of your car and attempt to engage someone in a forceful manner. Me personally, I would have ran them over trying to do something like that. Those guys had no business doing what they did and by the news reports you can see just how mix matched their story's have become. I read in one of the versions the guy indicated that he was "unarmed". So through that stupid situation the guy actually took time out to show that he was unarmed before heading towards the car and assaulting the husband? Again the whole situation is pretty mind boggling when you sit down and look at it from a common sense stand point.

Although the story seems untrue to many who wish it were not, it is true. I was told from the man who was having the affair that he had in fact been in a relationship with this woman. This is not something he would make up because he is maaried with children as well; it is not something he is proud of because he has just as much to loose as the shooters family. This story is correct...sorry!

One I am not disputing the fact that an affair may or may not have taken place. One subject matter has nothing to do with the other. The fact remains that two men were escorted from the same establishment that the couple was at. The two men waited outside of the bar for an hour and a half. Then, as the news stated "confronted" the husband approximately 4-5 blocks from the bar. The man who was shot, locked up his brakes, jumped out of his car, and as the news even states "confronted"/assaulted the husband. The guy had no business waiting nor approaching the husband in the middle of the road at 2:30 in the morning. Even by the spazzticated story from the news you can see quite clearly that the two men who pulled this stunt had stupid intentions and that was my entire point. The news, even with that moronic story contradicts themselves by trying to put a spin on a story that had nothing to do with the incident. I don't care if it was Jesus himself, if a guy locks up his brakes in front of me at 2:30 in the morning and I see him along with a friend of his rush my car, I am going to assume the worst case scenario and I am going to prepare myself. The guy who got shot in this situation and his buddy should have gotten together and put together a more accurate story because now as it continues to change, they both look like a couple of morons who have no business walking the streets.

Lastly, from what I know of both James and his wife, the two were engaged in a relationship over a decade ago. Prior to her ever being married. Again though, one subject matter has nothing to do with the other. This is clearly a case of one man trying to assault another man out of sheer spite and I personally think the guy should be thankful that it didnt turn out worse than what it did. You do not "confront" or assault another human being, I don't care what the situation calls for. Lastly, what the hell was the guy wanting to confront him about anyhow? How important was it that he do this in the middle of the road at 2:30 in the morning? Confront, short for confrontation. The guy clearly wanted to do something other then just talk. Again, common sense goes a long way.
