Teen blows kiss to Florida cop who did NOT appreciate it, police say
At some point, the kid also allegedly used the N-word despite the two of them being white.
Matthews pulled out handcuffs and prepared to arrest the boy -- whose right wrist was in a cast -- for disorderly conduct.
When Lance's sister got between the two, a scuffle ensued. Within seconds, the officer locked his arms around Lance's head and took the 130-pound boy to the ground. Lance said Matthews also choked him.
Matthews, 49, a building contractor who works part-time for Bradenton Beach Police, said Lance kicked him, and that his sister pushed him.
Hat Tip: Many thanks, to the Uncanny JUNGLE JIM!

Sounds like a Homophobe cop got his panties in a bunch.

Total disregard of respect on the punk kid's part. And his parents should be embarassed for his behavior.

I would have kicked my kids butt for being disrespectful to a Adult. The cop may have over reacted. I wasn't there and I know how kids are these days. This would have been a perfect time to teach this little punk a lesson on respest. The father is going to send another message. He's teaching his kid that it's OK to disrespect. My dad would have said I got what I asked for.

CIVIL LIBERTIES! You have to be kidding me! Both of those little brats should have a belt taken to them and sent to bed with no dinner.

Maybe the kids do need to learn respect, have belt taken to them ad nauseum. What they don't need is a stranger(even if he is a police officer) meteing out his own form of child rearing though. If the cop cant take something like this then he needs to find another job where he won't have to act like such a pansy.
