UPDATE from the PD: Mr. Smart has been located in southern Kansas in good physical condition. A citizen found him attempting to change a flat tire on his vehicle in the middle of the road. His family is en route to his location.
This came in about 10 a.m. today from Kansas City police:
J.S. Smart has been missing since 05-29-2008. He was driving a red 1995 Nissan PU w/ white camper shell. He was on his way to 72nd and N. Oak but never arrived. He is believed to be in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
