Missing KCK man found dead

This just came in from KCK police:

On Friday, May 30, 2008 at approximately 0820 hrs, the Kansas City Kansas Police Department resumed the search for missing Kansas City, Kansas resident Bobbie E. Newton, 77. Approximately one hour into the search, he was located deceased in a wooded area about a quarter of a mile south of his residence. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Mr. Newton had been missing from his Kansas City, Kansas residence since Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 1845 hours. Mr. Newton’s family has been notified.
