Police Scanner: May highlights, installation No. 3

Ninjaturtle For the weekend, here are the last of my noted scanner dispatches from May. Enjoy.

May 22: "Reported solicitors, 43rd and Troost, four black males dressed as females."

May 25: "In regards to a black male...he's jumping out of a tree with a big sword and a big gun strapped on his back."

"I think we went there just the other day for that same guy, and you're probably going to want three people. I think he's about 6-foot-5 and about 350."

"...43 and Prospect, we have a black female in the middle of the street undressing herself."

May 27: "...elderly white male...gray shirt...pretending to be a statue..."

May 28: "The female is beating on someone's door, possibly intoxicated. She's creating a scene."

"Just so you know, the party armed is deaf. He doesn't know how to speak. And he's also inside of the bedroom at the address, refusing to leave."

"It's involving a neighbor that he's fighting with, and he's thrown nails into the roadway for everyone to run over."

Kansas City dispatchers also reported that somebody called 911 because "they thought they saw a lion on the loose." As far as police could tell, it was unfounded.
