JoCo Sheriff busts alleged cockfighting operation
From JoCo Sheriff: After a two-year investigation, Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant for a cock fighting operation at 38750 West 151st Street in Rural Johnson County today at 10:00 a.m. Deputies confiscated over 170 Fighting Roosters and large sum of cash from the location.
There will be a press conference on the Johnson County Courthouse steps today June 25, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. to address the investigation and arrests.
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Fernando Tapia and Alberto Rodriguez-Perez for operating an illegal cockfighting operation. Formal charges will be announced by the District Attorney’s Office at a later date.
Oh great:( Now when my neighbor and I whipp out our (swords) and start whipping each other with it, we'll be charged with (what kind of fighting)?
