The man who shot Ronald Reagan would really like to have longer furloughs from the psych hospital, but prosecutors say it's a bad idea. Their reason: Hinckley is "is a womanizing narcissist who juggles sexual relationships, maintains 'fondling privileges' with one paramour, and 'believes himself entitled to a life of leisure,'" The Smoking Gun reports.

This "significant increase in his interaction with women" is of concern, prosecutors argue, because of Hinckley's "narcissistic need to be in the company of women and to impress the women he is with."

And everybody remembers the last time he tried to impress a woman ...

When I was a student at the U. of Md. (in the 1980's), one of my part-time jobs was driving a bus that took psych interns to volunteer jobs at St Elizabeths Hospital. While they were doing their two-hour stint, I waited for them in the lobby of the building where John Hinckley was being kept. At the time, his gf was a woman who had privileges and was able to leave the building (& I think the grounds as well). I often saw her in the lobby though I never spoke to her. She had one arm, the result of a self-inflicted shotgun injury, a suicide attepmt after she had kiled her 10-year-old daughter with the same weapon. Yeah, he really knows how to pick 'em.

RE: Hinckley....as sorry as the truth might be. ..Hinckley's should have been a better shoy. He would have saved the entire "free world" from the deranged Ronald Reagan. As much as people "adored" the entirely senile Reagan...he was a nut himself. Reagan's policies systematically destroyed America's economy and mindset for years. Yes, we are still paying for "Reaganomics" today. had Hinckly succeeded in his failed attemt, the world would now be a better safer place to live!!!! So...based on that simple truth...let him (Hinckley) have whatever freedoms he requests.
