KS barber beats charges of hosting illegal poker games

Cards

Lovely story from Galena, where authorities accused the proprietor of Chatterbox's Old Fashion Barber Shop of running illegal poker games in his building. The judge ended up kicking the case because some witness statements couldn't be located, and there was no evidence to show money was changing hands.

Hat Tip: Many thanks, FanDanGo!

And since that raided the wrong location and all the evidence was tossed.....

*sigh* Our tax dollars at work again.

They should have thrown those guys in prison for life. How dare they gamble outside of a casino? Just because no money changed hands doesn't mean it wasn't illegal, immoral and fattening. Think of how this case used up law enforcement time that could have been used to create PerVerts on the internet and videos for NBC.

Hang 'em, I say. Hang 'em.

A guy walks into a barber shop. "Bob Cox here?". "Nope, just haircuts."
