Charges filed in shooting on Highland Avenue
Charges were filed today in connection with a Wednesday night shooting in the 5400 block of Highland Avenue.
Jackson County prosecutors charged Antonio Brim, 23, and Maurice L. Ray, 16, both residents of Kansas City, with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and resisting arrest. Bond for each was set at $250,000.

I feel truly sorry for everyone involved. Especially for the ones who wrote the blogs about Tyler diserving what he got and the he should be dead. God is the only true judge in this life. Mr Unknown, God knows who you are and I hope that you know him and find peace with Him and within yourself. Being a bitter person helps noone. I pray for everyone to be safe in these wicked times. Instead of fostering anger try forgiving thats what Christ has asked us all to do.

to the unnamed person i do know god, we talk everyday...he also says eye for an eye...so in this case whoever has never sinned go cast the first stone...i mean bullet...and also the reason for the outrage is tyler isn't even being charged with the crime...his homie is facing the time & his homie won't "snitch"...so if the current judicial system doesn't work the streets always does, even if it takes a little time...no this is not a threat just facts...i don't hate tyler i just feel he should get what he deserves & yes god has the finally say so (the only say so that matters anyway)...but god did give me a brain, feelings & freewill...which means i can state my opinions & feelings...correct me if im wrong...
and to the other nameless person...it isn't about killing each other, honestly most killings stem from one of three things
1. Revenue
2. Respect
3. Pride
those three things stem into endless reasons or should i say motives for killing, and guess what it's not just in the streets of the urban community...look at G. W. Bush!
