Edgar Patino

Patino Patino, a sergeant at Fort Bragg, is accused of killing a fellow soldier who was carrying his child, but wasn't his wife. Authorities allege that Patino wrote anonymous letters to local papers, claiming to be a serial killer who had murdered Spc. Megan L. Touma, who was seven months pregnant.

More here from the Fayetteville Observer, which has a solid archive of stories about the case.
