Homicide victim was stabbed by girlfriend, KCPD says
From KCPD: Today at approximately 3pm, KCMO Police were called to a residence in the 500 block of Chestnut in regard to a cutting. Upon arrival officer's located the victim inside the residence with no signs of life. The 53yr old male was pronounced dead a short time later. It appears his live-in girlfriend became angry and stabbed him. The 51yr old female suspect was located at the scene and is in custody.
Please call the TIPS Hotline if you have information in regard to this homicide.
Um, I don't mean to be obvious, but do we need to call the TIPS hotline if his gf did it and she is in custody? Just wondering...

Lets make sure she receives equal rights for her punishment. The double standard for punishment between men and women needs to go away.

The defense I hear beyond the really really sorry one, is that he was verbally abusive.
You may remember the preachers wife, Mary Winkler, that killed the preacher with the shotgun she got three to six years. They use it all the time. No real consequences for their behavior is the standard.

Linda.. how do you drink someone? and by fight.. do you mean they used to have knock down, punching fights.. cause this chick sounds like she could hold her own.
