MO man killed 71-year-old with a steeltoed kick to the head, police say

The case is from Springfield, the suspect is a 29-year-old from Joplin, the News-Leader reports. The suspect reportedly blamed the older man for starting the fight by slapping him. Police say the younger guy, who was reportedly wearing steeltoed boots, then pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the side of the head.

Why would you kick a 71 year old anyway?

I wonder if the they had Sinatra playing in the background?
