A semi-trailer truck driver was injured overnight after a rock thrown from an overpass went through the windshield and struck him. No one is in custody.
The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Monday on westbound Missouri 350 at 67th Street in Kansas City. The driver, who was knocked out by the rock, left the roadway, according to media reports.
Emergency crews extricated the driver from the truck’s sleeper compartment. The driver’s injuries, however, were not life-threatening, according to media reports.
