Springfield's new crime lab

The News-Leader has an update on that city's still-under-construction lab. They're starting to reach out to neighboring counties and ask if they'll help fund it. This is a good thing, not just for them, but the entire state. Once the Springfield lab is up and running, they'll be able to process a lot of evidence from the southern part of the state, freeing up resources elsewhere.
