Three nursing-home employees were accused of abusing a patient because, after one woman died, they posed her body in funny positions and took photos.
They've beaten the rap, though. Authorities say the woman technically wasn't a patient because she was already dead.

It's odd they got off simply because she wasn't a "patient" any longer. I can't think of a single state in the Union that doesn't have an action against mistreating a corpse. It's not a criminal action (i.e., what they did wouldn't put them in jail), but this family's next of kin can sue them in tort and they'll at least be penalized montetarily.

This is what happens when the family unit is broken. Children are raised with little sense of right and wrong and no sense of moral decency.
...And the cycle continues.

I betcha the nursing home "still considers her to be a patient" when they were billing insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.

It takes money to pose dead ex patients DB... So yep, they'll make sure they get paid.
Maybe they shouldn't have shown weekend at bernies for the morning movie at the home.

I don't like playing with corpses, makes your hands stinky.

Truth teller, can you imagine that anyone would be treated this way just after death?
