KCPD, OP announce sobriety checkpoints

Overland Park has a DUI checkpoint scheduled for Friday.

And from KCPD: The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department  will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, August 29, 2008 in the south part of Kansas City, Missouri. This checkpoint will be preceded with a briefing at the Agnes Police Facility, 1328 Agnes at 2300 hours.

More revenue for the City coffers, more welfare for lazy law enforcement, and another violation of the 4th Amendment in the name of "Public Safety".. Funny, I never hear the ACLU screaming about DUI checkpoints which harrass innocent citizens, but they scream about the PATRIOT ACY which harasses terrorists and our enemies!!!! They must be receiving a payoff from the Police as well!!
