Not sure how far back you want to go, but in recent memory, 2005 is regarded as the worst. Let me see what the total was -- I think it was north of 123.

I think 1993 was the record year...I know that 1998 had 133 murders...we might be on pace to shatter these records...sad.

I think KC had 152 or 153 murders in 1993, 1992 had 152 murders.

It's unreal the number of murders in Kansas City.
And guess what all we got was a speech from the Mayor and Police Chief.
Go figure? If I remember right the Chief of Police said we needed a holistic approach whatever the heck that is. It's unreal man.
It's like no one knows what to do.
Chow.

KC is definately needing s CHANGE! No respect for human life, no respect for a man trying to make a living, no respect for taking a LIFE. To keep such accurate counts of those killed how about publishizing the total of cases solved. Don't let me newphew, Terrance Timmons murder be in vain. This man served our country just to come home and be killed...the devil is a liar if you think JUSTICE is on a black man's side.
