4yr old AND and infant were playing with a gun.. .my god.. where were the parents? It is the middle of the day... taking a nap?

Two 4 year olds and an infant.

No No No...Where was the trigger lock?

"No No No...Where was the trigger lock?"

No, no, no. This is the fault of the parent or adult guardian. A trigger lock makes a home self-defense gun no better than a big rock.

If you're going to have home self-defense gun, you need to keep it out of the reach of children, but still somewhere you can quickly access when needed.

KMBC news crews reported that an infant and another 4-year-old child were taken from the home by officers

Where does it say that they were also playing with the gun? Maybe it really was nap time and this 4 year old was being a typical 4 year old and found a not so well hidden gun.

It's awful that this happened, but sometimes an accident is just an accident. Even good, law abiding parents can make a mistake.

Quit jumping to conclusions.

Wow, it's such a nice home...hard to believe this could happen there.

Okay, NOW jump to conclusions...

On a report this morning they said that the kid found the gun just sitting in mom's purse.

Even better, this isn't the first time that this has happened. One of the other kids brought a gun over to show off to a neighbor. Got it out of the purse that time too.

Sterilization and full charges for this waste of space.
